TRIP DESCRIPTION
Our Lower Deerfield Family Raft Trip is great for younger rafters and their families as well as adults interested in easy whitewater and a unique way to see the scenery of the Deerfield River valley.
The Family Trip starts out with fun in “Roger Rapid” and “Cold River Rapids” and alternates with calm areas that are perfect for floating alongside the raft or splashing water at the other rafts.
Our Guides will keep everyone entertained with local history of the area and fun games for the kids. After rafting we serve a delicious meal overlooking the river at our base camp and check out photos from the raft ride.
Raft Capacity: Our rafts hold 6-7 paddlers. We have a few rafts that hold 8. Groups of 6, 7, or 8 will have a private raft. Groups with fewer than 6 may we joined by other parties.
Includes: Pre-trip safety instruction, professional guide, PFD and helmet, transportation to and from river, hearty meal (chicken, fish or veggie w/homemade salads, dessert, drinks), photo presentation of your adventure
Schedule: The Lower Deerfield Family Raft Trip runs from Memorial Day weekend in late May through through Labor Day weekend at the beginning of September on specific scheduled dam release dates. See booking calendar for availability.
